Crist Engineers, Inc. seeks to hire a Civil Engineer Project Manager.
Duties: Manage job under construction which includes reviewing submittals from the contractor that is constructing the job designed. Making sure all submittals from the contractor are up to standard with the confirmed specifications signed and agreed on bid day. Processing payment applications for the contractor and make sure all quantities that were installed and stored are correctly listed in the pay application. Solve any field problems and answering RFI’s (request for information) from the contractor. Help the Project Manager to design Water and Wastewater pump stations, and water and wastewater treatment plants. Perform all calculations and design regarding system curve, major and minor loses, wet well sizing and force main design for pump stations. Perform all hydraulics calculations for water and wastewater treatment plant design by calculating the water surface elevation from the moment water enters the treatment plant to discharge point. All calculations and design will be consistently reviewed and supervised by the project manager on the project. Prepare ADEE (Arkansas Department of Environment and Energy) permits such as NPDES (National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System). Conducting statistical analysis for all data that is reported and tested by the treatment plants and filling the application with the results and ensuring the treatment plants aren’t discharging any pollutants to rivers or any national waters. Prepare various ARDOT (Arkansas Department of Transportation) permits which includes calculations to ensure the design meets ARDOT standards. Provide cost estimates on projects which includes conducting precise calculations for each pipe, joint, fitting, pumps, earth work, demolition, etc., and ensuring they are accounted for to present to clients for budgeting purposes.
Must have Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
